Rob (Bob)'s Story
Life
I am one of the first group of students to attend EHS - I was in grade 10 in 1958 when the school opened its doors. I was known more as 'Bob' Knight in school, but reverted to the name 'Rob,' which my family has always called me, after I left school...or should I say "finally left school." I have enjoyed an exciting and active life - working mostly in the field of media - as a writer, marketing person and manager with a bit of on-air work thrown in. m the lead singer, and we perform at about 30 events per year - mostly in Winnipeg, but some in rural Manitoba. I have travelled quite a bit, and have been in 38 of the 50 states, all of the Canadian provinces including Vancouver Island, and to Europe. I plan to travel to China this Fall with one of my five - count 'em - FIVE sons (and I also have one lone daughter - plus seven grandkids - I've been BUSY!!) I joined this service to see how old friends and classmates are doing, and find out who will be coming to the 50th reunion. I am on the reunion committee and enjoying it a lot! Rob Knight.
